I have finally managed to complete the P2 revision cards that summarise each P2 topic. QR codes link to my-GCSEscience.com videos on youtube and a selection of exam questions and answers from exampro. I kept the information on each card brief to either give students an overview before we start a topic or sum up the main specification points if the cards are used for revision. Most wording is taken from past paper markschemes to ensure students hit the marking points and score in the exams. To download an updated pdf copy of the 13 cards (without the spelling mistake in the title of page 2....) click here. The final set of quiz quiz trade cards; template inspired by @LGolton, free clipart by Philip Martin. For a copy of the set click here. Students use the command word guidance, connectives and keywords to structure their answer to the 6 mark physics P3 question. Students then use the markscheme to edit their first draft and complete their second draft before submitting it for marking. To download a set of questions (there are only 4 that I could find) click here. If you would like a copy of the template, let me know via twitter (@DaK_74) and I will upload it for you to download. Similar to my tube tickets, I will print out these licences small to make them look as authentic as possible. Students use the keywords, command word guidance and connectives to draft their answer and then check on the back of the licence against the markscheme before editing their response. The idea has been popular on twitter and you can download a full set from here or a blank template from here. The markscheme will form the back of the driving licence. I printed these postcards onto A4 and laminated them so that students can 'write in the journal' to draft their answer or bulletpoint their ideas. The command word guidance and marking points are printed on the back so students can edit their first draft and check how many marks they picked up. For a set of postcards click here. Template inspired by @LGolton and all questions are based on AQA's past papers. To download a copy of the set click here. Although there are numerous revision guides available, I wanted to create a resource that summarises the main content of each topic using common phrases found on markschemes. Students have the option to scan the QR code to listen to the my-gcsescience.com videos to recap the content before scanning in some example questions and model answers. I made these cards available to all my GCSE students so that they could independently revise at home as well as in class. For a full set click on the image. P1,P2,P3 Knowledge organisers |
